Life and Everything in Between ..

The title just sounded like unappealing to me but the drama itself is just amazing! I expected nothing about this drama because the only reason why I decided to watch this because I simply miss watching Shun Oguri. I never thought this drama would be one of my jdorama favorites.
Plot: A 29 year old successful CEO of an IT firm who has a very interesting personality and mysterious past meets a Tokyo University student who coincidentally have the same name as his mother- whom he is trying to find since he was young.

I finished the whole drama including the special episodes in just a day. So you can say that I'm really that hooked to this drama. I effin' love it ! The story is beautifully written, it is incredibly inspiring and touching. All of the characters are also well written and the actors really suits their roles.

Toru Hyuga is such an incredible character. An antisocial, genius and immature guy who doesn't know how to handle people but deep inside him, he really cares. He gives all his effort to work without thinking about money and fame. He always finds a way to every problem. Oh this character is such an inspiration to strive hard to reach your dreams.

When it comes to the chemistry between Toru (Shun Oguri) and Makoto (Ishihara Satomi) well, I have nothing say but great! The romance in this drama is shown in a beautiful way, I mean, you really can see the progress on their relationship in every episode. The break-ups and make-ups are also really touching and very realistic because hardships like that are normal in a relationship.

Sweet scenes! Kyaaa!

I also love the OST especially it's acoustic guitar version. Very calming and relaxing. Hear it out! :)

Taglines:
  • "Even the single person can change the world. Make the impossible, possible. Break the shackles of old values and discover new common sense."
  • "When we are facing each other, we end up fighting. There is nothing fun to remember about us. But I...want you to be the only one I have an argument with."
  • "If you want to start something new, it has to meet failure, it has to be criticized. This is where the creation process start."
All in all, I'll give this drama a 10/10. Definitely a must watch! Not just for romance but also for way of life, it is indeed very inspiring.
Hey guys ! Sorry for neglecting my blog for almost a month I think?
So many things had happened and changed me this past weeks, I can only say that I'm really stressed out lately. Sorry but I just can't talk about things that are happening in my life right now, I don't know but I just need to think and refresh my mind. I'd just think positive and believe that if bad thing didn't happen, how would you be able to feel the good ones?
Ehem.. enough of my drama! Anyway I came back with a drama review I just finished watching.

Personal Taste (2010)
Click here for general info. (plot, cast, etc.)

This drama is one of the best I've watched. Great plot and great cast. This drama is basically a lovestory but with a little twist into it and that's what I love about it, this drama has a very interesting twist (see for yourselves!). The lovestory is great, you can really feel the love growing on to the characters every episode, that's why I said that the casts did do really well not to mention the HOTness of Lee Min Ho. A lot of blushing, shivery and fuzzy feeling you'll feel whenever they have sweet and intimate scenes. You can also laugh at so many situations and this can also make you cry. This is an all-in-one drama, a really must watch !

ANOTHER (TV)

In 1972, Misaki, a popular student of Yomiyama North Middle School's class 3-3, suddenly died partway through the school year. Devastated by the unexpected loss, the students and teachers behaved like Misaki was still alive, leading to a strange presence on the graduation photo. In Spring 1998, 15-year-old Kōichi Sakakibara transfers into Yomiyama's class 3-3, where he meets the peculiar Mei Misaki, who is seemingly ignored by her classmates. The class is soon caught up in a strange epidemic, where its students and their relatives are caught up in mysterious deaths. Learning these deaths have something to do with the Misaki of 1972, it is up to Kōichi and Mei to discover the cause of these mysterious deaths and figure out how to put an end to it before it puts an end to them.
One BLOODY mysterious suspense anime, it's my first time watching this kind of anime 'coz I'm always into romance, slice of life, shoujo anime genre, it's very unusual for me to watch a suspense (it's more about death and killing). I was so bored so I give it a try and surprisingly, I enjoyed it! I must say that it has a great storyline, it'll make you curious about things that are happening to the story which will be revealed at the near end of the story. Definitely a must watch if you are into mystery and horror type genre.

TENSHI NO KOI (MY RAINY DAYS)

Genre: Romance, Drama, Slice of Life

Synopsis and other info. here

 My review:
So yeah, umm.. I just wanted to say that I'm soo happy that I found this movie randomly. Didn't expect much to this movie at first but later on, I realized that this movie is really good.
The story is revolving around the life of Rio Ozawa, a 17 year old high school student who is popular at school 'coz of her beauty and kindness but in reality she don't care about anyone, she's only manipulating them because she cares only to herself, for her own good. She is a student and at the same time she's somehow a prostitute, dating and sleeping with old men. But all of it change when she met Kouki Ozawa.
It made me realize that love can conquer all, really. Love can change someone into a much better person (Rio change because she wants a new life with Kouki). Love can inspire someone to live a happy life. It is worth living if there is someone who's been there and cares for you no matter what you've been through.
Miho, Tomoko, Rio and Maki

And gosh! This kiss is really unexpected and all-of-a-sudden. Really romantic and cute.
Ayiiee kissu kissu !!!

And the ending hug.
Gosh ! This movie really made me cry. I such a cry baby!
Amazing movie,though.  A must see.

Okay 'till here. It's past 2:00 and I haven't have my lunch 'coz of this movie. lol.
Gutom na ko. haha. Kain kain din. Jaa neh!
Watched yesterday, November 14

Plot

Marty Claridge has just moved out to the West with her husband Aaron Claridge (Oliver Macready), who dies in a riding accident shortly after. Marty, expecting her late husband's baby and left with nowhere to go, is in need of a place to stay through the winter. With no other options, she accepts the arrangement offered by widower Clark Davis, who offers to give her a place to stay for the winter and provide her with the fare for the wagon train heading back East in the spring. In exchange, they agree to get married, as he wants her to provide a maternal influence for his young daughter Missie. The two do not live together as husband and wife but keep separate quarters. Initially, it is not an ideal arrangement for any of them, and at first Marty and Missie do not get along. Marty learns more about "Clark's God" than she ever dreamed, and as the winter season passes, they all start to feel more like a family, and finally Marty and Clark come to realize they're in love.

Review
I'm just randomly searching for a movie to watch 'coz I'm kinda bored so I ended up watching this without expecting too much. At the beginning scenes, I kinda thought that it's lame and boring but as the story goes by, you'll eventually feel the flow of the story, the love. The story only gives the lesson that love do not always come like a firework that you'll feel immediately but love comes softly without even noticing it, it says that love has it's stages and you don't need to rush things up because everything will fall into their right place in the right time.
And another thing that I love about this movie is that it somehow tells about the message that trusting and believing God always is one key to feel peace and comfort. Just pray and trust Him and he will grant all of it, if not, then he has another better plan for you. And even if we fall and something bad happens, it does not necessarily mean that He wants that to happen to you but He's always there to pick you up and comfort you.
:)
Hi Guys! Haven't been posted anything here since I don't have something to share, I have been so so unproductive this days. Btw, I want to blog about a movie I just watched. The title is "Shutter"(Thai Horror Movie). Well I have been reading a lot of good reviews about it and since November 1st is coming I thought I should watch it. lol.
A young photographer and his girlfriend discover mysterious shadows in their photographs after a tragic accident. They soon learn that you can not escape your past.

Hella scary! The story is well written and I should say is one of the bests horror movies plus you have something to learn about this. Everything that you've done is something cannot be change and you should always think before you do something before it's too late.
I love the twist of the story. And this scenes are hella scary:

Oh fuck! Just imagine someone you can't see is on top of you like that! That your neck is always aching.  Scary!
Scary!Scary!Scary! but definitely good! And for those who wants to watch something real scary, you should watch this! That's all.

"Shinagawa Daichi used to be a good student who has now become a delinquent, while class president Adachi Hana was a delinquent who is now trying to move on. Her secret is discovered by Shinagawa, but she involves herself trying to correct his ways."
I definitely recommend this drama to those who are into comedy, slice-of-life and a little bit of romance genre. Japanese writers are really good in this kind of genres, it's always enjoyable to watch but at the same time you can learn from it. So the story depicts on a student who wants to change her own self for the better but there are also the one's whose being rebellious because of their personal life affairs and problems. Definitely worth the watch and the ending is so great! :)
