Life and Everything in Between ..

This is the time of the year when I have a shitload things to do that I don't know what to put first anymore, it's crazy! Work and study (plus lovelife..joke hehe!) is so hard to concur but still I know I can do this and I have to f*ckng do this, no time for negative thoughts for now and I know it will all be worth it.

Okay, enough of the intros, I'm here to talk about my thesis in progress. It's all about fear, knowing your unconscious fears, childhood fears, conquering your fears, etc. We all have fears and it's normal, I believe without having fears, people will not live a normal life. Do you guys agree with that? hmmm.. Without fear, a man can kill whenever he wants, we'd be jumping off a high building, we can do whatever we want but we won't survive for long with that. I think having fears is not innate to all of us and there are studies in the past that fear is created in all aspects, that includes our environment, culture, childhood experiences.

Talking about creating fear, there is the famous psychology experiment called "The Little Albert Experiment" conducted by behaviorist John B. Watson and his student, Rosalie Raynor. The experiment features a baby which they experimented with classical conditioning, although it is one of the famous experiments in the history of psychology, the experiment is criticized in several reasons. First, the process and design is not carefully constructed because Watson and Raynor only rely on their own opinions and secondly, it is just unethical.

Fears are also studied before in the course of human evolution which says that people who feared the right things survived to pass on their genes. The trait of fear and the response to all the dangers around as is truly beneficial to our race. However, there are several cases that fear can be a hindrance to someones life. It is when fear became extreme that it affect one's daily activities and in this cases, one should consult professional help. But then, it is also very important to know and learn how to overcome your own fears in able to live a normal and happy life.

I've come up to a simple survey questionnaires (refer to the link below) for my research and it covers questions related on what are the possible causes, effects and ways how to overcome fears. If you have something to share about this topic, please let me know. It will be very much appreciated. :-)

Thank you for reading.

“Fear is nothing more than an obstacle that stands in the way of progress. In overcoming our fears we can move forward stronger and wiser within ourselves.”

Yesterday, it's been hell for me. You said things that totally shocked the hell out of me, it hurts deep into my soul, literally. I know it's all my fault 'coz I can't get things done, I'm impossible and petulant and possessive and a disgrace to you. Inspite of all that, fights over smallest things, physically hurting you and all our differences, you still stayed and do your best to be with me for the past 10 months but I pushed you to your limit. I honestly don't know what to think and do anymore, well, I guess my past bad experiences made me like this. I'm truly deeply sorry for all that I've done but for you and me, for us. All I could think to do is that I'm willing to change, yeah, I know you heard this a lot, my false promises! but this time around it's gon' be real and true.

I've come to realize and feel real grief since those hours thinking I might not see you and talk to you ever again after all that happened. I realized it's time for me to low down my pride for the one I really love who never gave up on me on my worst attitude. Ugh! I hate drama but damn! I'm so damned and it's my freaking fault and I'm goin' crazy if I keep this to myself.

Glad I'm still lucky that you still accepted me after all, and sure this time I'll make things right baby. I said before we parted after our broke up yesterday that breaking up is just okay with me because I saw it coming and I believe that 'people just come and go', but truth is, it's not, at that moment I want to say that 'I'm sorry and please accept me' but it's not that easy for I'm afraid you'll reject me and that'll totally break my heart into pieces and my soul might die right there and then. It's true people just come and go and I might just accept it but I want you to be the only exception to that, I can't even bear thinking about not being with you. I just cant.. I love you too much to walk away. And please don't change, but if ever your feelings for me had changed, I can promise that I'll understand and I'll do my best to make things just fine for this relationship...

I can't believe 2014 is just less than 3 weeks away! Days are really passing by so so freakin' fast, it always horrify me looking back. Thinking of my life today from last years today, it changed a lot and I must say changes that had happened to me are all good and I've never regretted anything that I have done. I am thankful for everything that I have today because I can now finally say that I have a life and such...

Last October, I got employed in a private insurance company and so far, I'm enjoying it and I'm happy about everything right now. It's just that my life really changed since then, it turned me into someone who really have a plan to her life in the future which is so surprising for me coz I'm that kind of person who always go for "whatever" kind of living. By the way, I'm currently living in an all girls dormitory in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

Just me and my roomies.

Anyways, I need to end up in here. 'Til then and I'm wishing you all to have a Merry Christmas and New year. :)

Just a short come back update since I don't have much time to blog this past two months. I wonder if you guys miss me or do you still even know me? lol.

For this past few months, I've been busy changing my lifestyle and I must say that I have never been this motivated and inspired before. If you guys remember the last time, I blogged about such things like losing weight and eating healthy, well, I am proud to say that I'm now very consistent about it and still in progress. It's all about healthy diet and exercise. I always watch what I eat making sure that it's always full of nutrients and good fats that my body needs. I also committed myself into exercising for at least 1 hour a day, it makes me feel good about myself and it's also my stress reliever. By the way, I recently reached my goal of 24 inch waistline (I feel soo good and that makes me want to touch and feel my flat tummy every now and then. lol).

So yeah, that's pretty much it! I'll try my very best to update here every now and then or you may just want to follow me on twitter or check out my instagram @nacasihanan 'coz I'm very much more active there! Chaooo

Lately, I'm super obsess about losing weight and all. Even though I know that I'm not even that fat to worry about my weight, I still want to lose weight and build muscles (yes! I want to build muscles! I want abs. HAHAH!). I blame it on watching too much Victoria's Secret fashion shows on YouTube. VS models are so damn skinny, tall and most of them have a really interesting or rather exotic kind of faces that I really envy. Check out this Victoria's Secret fashion show http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ7vcYLAo5I

Admit it or not, all girls want to have this kind of body.

This is Miranda Kerr, one of my favorites among the VS angels! Can you believe she already have a son?
Victoria's Secret Angels (Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio)
Dayumm! Just looking at their pictures makes me feel like I'm a less woman. lol. Okay, going back about losing weight, well, I've been being such a freak about it lately. I'm working out at home for at least three times a week for 20 to 30 minutes, I'm watching every food I eat (I even downloaded a calorie counter app to my phone), sometimes I skip meals and starve myself too (I know it's wrong). So yeah, that was my routine but then I don't see any changes and that slightly disappoints me but not that much. Somehow, I'm contented to what my body looks like but then I still want a better physique (to look good naked! kidding!).

That's all for now. See you around! Cyberkisssss!

The title just sounded like unappealing to me but the drama itself is just amazing! I expected nothing about this drama because the only reason why I decided to watch this because I simply miss watching Shun Oguri. I never thought this drama would be one of my jdorama favorites.
Plot: A 29 year old successful CEO of an IT firm who has a very interesting personality and mysterious past meets a Tokyo University student who coincidentally have the same name as his mother- whom he is trying to find since he was young.

I finished the whole drama including the special episodes in just a day. So you can say that I'm really that hooked to this drama. I effin' love it ! The story is beautifully written, it is incredibly inspiring and touching. All of the characters are also well written and the actors really suits their roles.

Toru Hyuga is such an incredible character. An antisocial, genius and immature guy who doesn't know how to handle people but deep inside him, he really cares. He gives all his effort to work without thinking about money and fame. He always finds a way to every problem. Oh this character is such an inspiration to strive hard to reach your dreams.

When it comes to the chemistry between Toru (Shun Oguri) and Makoto (Ishihara Satomi) well, I have nothing say but great! The romance in this drama is shown in a beautiful way, I mean, you really can see the progress on their relationship in every episode. The break-ups and make-ups are also really touching and very realistic because hardships like that are normal in a relationship.

Sweet scenes! Kyaaa!

I also love the OST especially it's acoustic guitar version. Very calming and relaxing. Hear it out! :)

  • "When we are facing each other, we end up fighting. There is nothing fun to remember about us. But I...want you to be the only one I have an argument with."
  • "If you want to start something new, it has to meet failure, it has to be criticized. This is where the creation process start."
All in all, I'll give this drama a 10/10. Definitely a must watch! Not just for romance but also for way of life, it is indeed very inspiring.
Yo! It's been a month, right? How are you guys? I miss blogging but as usual, too lazy to type things like this and that. hehe. I'll just part this post by categories? haha

Something kinda frustrating:

This last few weeks, all I do is to listen to Paramore's old music. This song is one of their old songs that I really looovvee. Recently, they've release their new album called "Now", I'm a big fan of Paramore so I checked it out only to feel disappointed about it, not because it's not nice but I really think their old music is much much better. Their new song called "Still into you" is good but for me, it doesn't sound like "Paramore" to me, you know what I mean? I wish they'd bring their old music back. I miss Paramore. :(

Something random: Yesterday, I visited my old good friend Ehya since we're both available, I missed her and their house which is our bonding place. We talked a lot of random stuff and all while eating, surfing the net, we also decided to try (more like experimenting) to bleach my hair (it's a fail, though). I really love this girl, she's like a sister from another mother. haha picture!
Sisterly love that comes from the name "Mehannan Nacasil". <3 it.

Recently watched:
The Perks of being a wallflower (2012 Film)

  • Based on the novel written by Stephen Chbosky. The story is about a 15 year old guy named Charlie, an endearing and naive outsider, coping up with his first love, the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness while struggling to fit in.
  • Genre: Drama, Romance, Psychological, Coming-of-age
  • Main Cast: Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller
  • My Review:
Since I've been seeing a lot of positive reviews about this movie, I decided to watch it and I can say that it's worth the watch. I love it. I love the story and how the characters move and eventually change as the movie proceeds. Logan Lerman is amazing, he is really the best for the character of Charlie, he's so natural. On Emma Watson, I have nothing to say, she is really one of the best, I think she can act and portray almost all kinds of characters and finally, on Ezra Miller, well, that is my first time seeing him and I immediately fall in love with him, yeah, he's a queer but I really think he's hot! Omo! Love him.
Can we all just take a minute and stare at him? Look how goddamn hot he is!
He is smoking f*ckin' hot, right?
Oh stop it....
Oh Baby, Why are you so hot?
Okay! Moving on! hehe. Going back to the story, I can say that everyone that came and gone to high school can totally relate to this. I mean, high school can be the best time of our life but at the same time, it can be the worst part of our life if we didn't cope up. In high school, we will experience all sort of new happenings and that includes not only the hardship of studying but also about love, sex and the new environment, that is why I think that we can all relate to the story because it is so realistic. All in all, it's a great film but I'm still looking forward on reading the book (I'll find time for that).
